JR4 Digital was born from a simple realization: small businesses are deeply under-served by the tech industry.

A few years ago, I began helping local contractors and service businesses with their websites, and the pattern was always the same.
I grew up in Pecos, Texas, then moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas on an academic scholarship, where I earned a degree in Computer Science. Over the past 30 years, I’ve built software across the full spectrum—from enterprise systems for massive corporations to custom tools for small, family-owned businesses. Seeing both worlds firsthand showed me what’s possible with unlimited budgets, and what small business owners are usually told they can afford. The gap between those two realities never sat right with me.

A few years ago, I began helping local contractors and service businesses with their websites, and the pattern was always the same. They either paid thousands to agencies that vanished after launch, or struggled with DIY platforms and wasted countless hours. They didn’t need a prettier site; they needed a system that generated customers and saved time. That realization, paired with modern AI platforms, led to JR4 Digital. I’m not building the biggest agency in Austin—only the most helpful partner for hardworking small business owners everywhere.
